First of all I would like to say he is the best and real human being ever i have seen, talk about his profession as a doctor, one of the best cardiac specialists in across the state. He has won accolades and trust of his patients and amongst his fellow doctors Which makes him more special. I want to thank Dr. Madhu for the times he stood beside us when we needed him the most. Dr. Madhu will understand the issue in detail and allows you to open up. Dr Madhusudan Asawa sir is undoubtedly incredible. My Mom is under his care post CABG (2015). It’s rare to find such a doctor that combines outstanding quality of medical care and prescribing best line of treatment for his patients. Most importantly he works with precision and overrules a limited doubt too as he values a patient’s life. I recommend to be his patient.

He is the epitome of the noble profession. I first met Dr Asawa 2 years ago when my 71 year old father was having a massive heart attack. Dr Asawa very calmly informed me about what was going on and the various options for treatment. My cousin is a senior doctor in the US who knew Dr Madhu Asawa and informed me we are in safe hands. My father had 99% blockages that Dr Asawa very perfectly tackled and fixed it up. When brother got the case reviewed by his cardiologist friend in America, he said "it was a very complex procedure that was performed to perfection". He had a lot of calcium - I did nto even know there could be calcium in the arteries. I owe my sincere gratitude to Dr Asawa and his entire team at the hospital. I work as an executive manager in IDBI Bank . Had an heart attack which my local doctor thought was acidity. Finally when no relief came my colleague suggested to see Dr Asawa. That was in 2019. Dr Asawa is a wonderful human being. We visited him to get a second opinion for my father's cardiac health. He had undergone ECG, ECHO and TMT tests wherein the previous doctor had suspected a blockage in heart and recommended to perform angiogram test followed by angioplasty. We were extremely tensed as my father is a very active person and we did not expect something like this to show up suddenly hence we thought of having a second opinion by one of the leading cardiologists in Pune i.e. Dr. Madhusudan Asawa and no doubt whatsoever when people term him as the best. He is extremely down to earth and very humble in nature. He listens to you very patiently and examines you carefully. He checked my father using his stethoscope and went through his reports stating Sir, you are absolutely fine and you do not require my services.. these words were so reassuring for all of us and we were left teary eyed but these tears were of joy and happiness as doctor mentioned that no further tests or surgery is required and that my father can carry on with his regular routine. I visited for second consultation for my father who was advised to go Angiogram asap by two doctors . Doctor helped me in understanding to focus on my father's health first as he is diabetic and his sugar level were fluctuating and had iron and haemoglobin deficiency and then go for an angiogram. He explained it so nicely and was so friendly in attitude and behavior and helped me to focus on improving moly fathers health first and then go for an angiogram after 6 months. We were so relieved and had joyful tears in eyes. Never going to consult any other doctor ever. Highly recommend him.

He is very down to earth and makes patients feel very much comfortable during his consultation. He gives huge hopes which are more necessary for recovery instead of actual medicines. Let me explain my story.. I had suffered from palpitations and breathlessness and i was wrongly diagnosed with "Rheumatic heart disease" by a big hospital in Pune. Because of this shock i could'nt sleep for 15 days and also the palpitations used to occur frequently. Thanks to our family Dr Kadam from where i could get the contact of Dr.Madhu Asawa I have been under the care of this doctor from past 3 months and i have almost recovered from my health problems. This doctor has huge experience and he has got the knack of diagnosing patients just with Stethoscope. He initially diagnosed me just with his stethoscope and said to me "You don't have Rheumatic heart disease ". These words bought me great relief, self confidence and made me very happy. Then later i was taken to ECho scan room and the doctor explained me clearly what the exact issue is and what is causing all the palpitations and breathlessness symptoms. I have huge confidence on this doctor and i feel myself that nothing bad is going to happen to me since Dr.Madhu asawa is always there for me to take care of my health. I am now back to my normal activities and i am able to concentrate more on my work. Doctor has given me the confidence that i can eat anything, i can go for trekking, and as usual continue with my normal day to day activities. Many times i have visited him and many times he has advised his receptionist not to collect fees from me. My hats off to his dedication and service to mankind. Initially I was slightly taken aback after seeing very few people waiting for consultation, but after seeing the doctor after ecg and echo, i was surprised by the way the doctor outrightly rejected any heart related complication. My mom was on metorprolol (a beta-blocker given to cardic patients to improve performance of heart), but the doctor suggested to stop this medication and referred her to a Pulmonologist as the symptoms were because of asthma. Never seen a doctor who is ready to make a dent on his own income owing to the genuinity of case. The charges of consultation, ecg and echo were all very reasonable.

I reached on time and had my initial checkups(like Blood Pressure, heart beats etc) done by the staff. Staff was very polite. Around 5.15 PM(my appointment time) I met the doctor. Dr. Asawa was extremely polite and down to earth. He took time to go through all my medical records. We had a friendly chat about how this happened to me(I'm too young to be a heart patient). He mentioned that I was recovering well and asked me to have my ECG and ECHO done. Once my results were with him he assured me that I had nothing to worry about(provided I don't go back to my old style of living) Coming to prescribing medicines he cut down my medicines from 3 to 1. All in all my experience with him was extraordinary(I don't like doctors much, who does right?) I felt like I was visiting a family member and not just a doctor.

Visited him regarding my father's heart blockages consultation and treatment. My father had total occulsion in LAD and blockages in other arteries. He explained the issue and treatment in great detail with the associated risks frankly which I really appreciate. After his consultation, I got second and even third opinion but the other doctors said more or less the same things which he did, making us trust his line of treatment fully. So we went with him for my father's angioplasty. It was smooth and we were satisfied. I recommend him without a doubt. Trust me you won't regret

Visit Dr. Madhu asawa by chance, after some online research for the treatment of my father who had just undergone angioplasty in my hometown but was having a lot of other issues post the procedure. Dr. Asawa immediately able to identify the issue as low electrolyte levels. At this point my father had lost confidence in his health and was having anxiety, but Dr. Madhu asawa spent the time to counsel him. I was happy with the confidence and decisiveness of his treatment. It was a critical condition so he immediately admitted my father into CCU and treated him for 1.5 days post which he prescribed medications and now my father is fit and extremely satisfied with the treatment he received. Also, as my father is getting older, he sometimes digresses from the topic when discussing his issues, which can be extremely irritating to some doctors. However, Dr. Madhuasawa paid attention and was extremely calm and made sure my father was fully satisfied and had all the information he desired. I also discussed diet and nutrition at length with him and he gave us a lot of time to answer small questions about food habits. With Dr. Asawas support, I've been able to switch my father to keto diet on a short term basis, which has greatly helped him in reducing weight and diabetes and improving mood. I want to personally thank him for being a supportive and calming doctor, who prescribes minimal medications and is ready to answer any and every question of the patient.

My father is detected with the hole in heart, and this news created a sort of many heart breaks, within the family. This is when, we decided to go for a second opinion. I have high regards for my family doctor who encouraged me to meet him at Poona hospital. Dr.Madhu is very courteous human being, who lends his ear to the words of patient and then he approaches to the problem, in such a refined manner, that patient understand what he's being given treatment for. He supervised ECHO for my dad personally and suggested, couple of more test. I really felt, Dr.Madhu asawa is really a passionate guy towards his work. From Sahyadri hospital I got heart X-ray /echo and had some doubt regarding it and hence went to meet him on 22/09/2021. He saw the reports and told it's normal and no need to worry. I came to reception to pay consultant fee then they told that doctor asked them to not to take fee itself. When I went to doctor to ask why he is not taking fee then he told it's normal and he has done nothing for me. More ever he is very cool and composed guys.
