Mother had been having chest pain so her angiography was done in sangli. Tu hey told us to get angioplasty. We went for second opinion to 4 cardiologist. All except Dr. Madhusudan asawa told us to do angioplasty. Dr. Asawa took her history again and asked us to do a test called PET scan and after that suggested not to do anything for her problem other than taking 2 tablets . My whole family was relived so much. We are lucky that we found him else we would have got 3 stents put in my mother. I wish everyone is as fortunate as us. It is so frightening these days to go to hospital as we keep hearing all types of stories. Am sure all doctors mean well and give good advise. Dr. Asawa sir answers are very helpful, knowledgeable, well-reasoned and thorough. How doctor should start finding reason behind increasing heart rate? Wat test to be done ? As previous doctor said, it might be due to mild mitral valve prolapse which I have ,but his way of saying is so reassuring and he says clearly not to to come to him again as his services are not needed as I am healthy. such a rare doctor to say this. Really cardiologist and dedicated and non corrupted by his fame and popularity.
